Body of Christ, a small church with an open door.

Started in 2022 from a close-knit Bible study, we exist to know Jesus, love our neighbors, and grow together in faith as a small, family-style congregation in Laurens, Iowa. Our gatherings are simple — we sing, we pray, we open the Bible, and we share life together. Whether you’ve followed Jesus for decades or you’re still asking questions, you’ll find you are welcome here.

Through Sunday worship, Bible study, and our Wednesday evening Celebrate Recovery ministry, we aim to be a place where real people meet a real Savior.

We’re glad you’re here.

Come as you are!

Just make sure to come a few minutes early so we can say hey! Here at Body of Christ, worship lasts about an hour and we are typically done by noon.

And bring the little ones too!

Children are always welcome in the service. We don’t have a nursery yet, but we have toys to play with in the back.

A Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurts, habits, or hang-ups.

Celebrate Recovery is a place where you can be real about life’s struggles and find hope, healing, and freedom in Jesus Christ. Whether you’re working through addiction, grief, anxiety, broken relationships, or any other hurt, you are welcome here. Each gathering includes a shared meal, worship, teaching or testimony, and small group time where people can share openly in a confidential, judgment-free setting.

We would love to hear from you, so give us a call or come visit!
